Ella Bennett

Ella started with the firm in 2011 initially working as personal assistant to Kerry Connolly while studying her law degree at University of Southern Queensland.

Ella completed her degree in 2014 and was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in early 2016. Over the many years of experience at the firm Ella has gained a broad range of experience, particularly in relation to Property Law and Commercial Law.

The breadth of her work extends from contract drafting, acting for lessees and lessors, contracts for the sale, purchase and lease of rural properties, sale and purchase of business contracts along with franchise agreements, general commercial advice and commercial litigation.

Additionally, Ella’s experience extends to will drafting and estate planning advice. She has an interest in rural matters and plans to develop her expertise in this area, along with Commercial Law generally.

Originally from the Sunshine Coast, Ella has called Rockhampton home since 2011, and lives on the land just outside Rockhampton with her husband Ben and young daughter Isobel. Outside of the office Ella enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, water-skiing and riding horses.
